Palladam is situated in Trichy road 30Kms away from Coimbatore. The people who witnessed the functioning of Alvernia Matric. Higher Sec. School, Coimbatore expressed their wish to begin a convent and school at Palladam. As the people in that area were ignorant of Jesus Christ and Christianity the Church authorities also gave us full support. Consequently a convent and Nursery School started functioning in a rented house on 4th June 1993 with the name 'Infant Jesus Convent' Palladam. Without much delay the building for the school and the convent were completed in the newly bought site and blessed. Sisters changed the residence to the new convent. The convent chapel is used as the parish Church till the Parrish Church was constructed and blessed on 1st Feb.2014. Ten sisters are there and their main apostolate is education.
