St.Joseph Convent was established on 27.05.2004 in a small house at Veetampara in Ottapalam. Our aim was to conduct a school in order to give better education to the people in the locality. For this purpose we undertook the L.P.School already run by the parish, as they found it difficult to continue. The school was shifted to the new site after the new building was constructed. Later a building for the convent also was made. Sisters co-operate with the activities of the parish along with the teaching.
