Gandhipuram Mary Rani F.C.Convent, was established on 1st Feb. 1969 is a rented house. The convent and the school was shifted to the newly built site on 3rd July 1971. Their main apostolate is education, and they are engaged in teaching Catechism Church Ministry and house visits. One of the sister regularly working in the Catechetical centre in Ramanathapuram diocese.
