Arogyamatha convent was established on 28th Jan. 1992 at Arogyapuram, a small village blessed with natural beauty in Palakkad district. Most of the parishioners are those who migrated from different places for cultivation. The convent was established for assisting people in the liturgical services for the parish and co-ordinate parishioners and other people in the locality through social activities. Four sisters are staying here. They are engaged in activities like Catechism, assisting liturgical services, house visiting etc. We were conducting tailoring and type writing classes in the beginning to help the poor girls, and was stopped as there was no demands for it.
