Karamadai Good Shephered Convent was established on 4th June 1997. A primary school was also attached to it and later was cancelled. The main apostolate is Socialwork. Our chapel was used for parish activites. Sisters were also engaged in teaching catechism and other liturgical activites like pious associations. House visit is an important target. A free hostel named BALA BHAVAN (Clare Bhavan)also started on 6th June 1990. A good nember of girls are started and getting good education from School outside. There is a health Education Centre.As the convent chapel is used as the parish church till the parish church was constructed and blessed on 19th Jan 2013.
