St. John's convent is situated in the area close to Mangalam Dam to foster house visiting and help the neighbouring parishes. This convent was established on 16th Dec. 1995. At present there are 5 sisters. They were engaged in Catechism in the Parish, house visiting and teaching in Lourde Matha Higher Sec.School Mangalam Dam
