St.Peter's F.C.Convent Mangalam Dam started on19th 1964. We Bought an L.P. School started working there. Our convent chapel was used as parish Church till 1978 when the new parish Church was built. We run a boarding for the teachers and students. We started a Creche to help women when they go for work. There is a nursery school attached to the convent. We started a dispensary 1980 which later become St.Joseph hospital. In 1983 U.P. school was raised to a high school and in 1984 the name CMGH school was renamed as Lourde Matha High School. This high school is again elevated to Higher Secondary on 13.08.2010. Their main apostolate is education. A few sisters help in the liturgical duties, teach catechism and go for house visits.
